My name is Jim, owner of Nature Coast Soaps. Since childhood, I've always been a sort of "maker" of things. From models made from household scrap items, to a bit of carving, sculpting, painting and candle making. I began making soap in January 2019. I was inspired to make soap for many reasons and can't list them all here. But I will say, I just LOVE making soap! Plus, always having a unique gift available at a moment's notice is wonderful!

Most of us want to take care of our mind and body as best we know how. It's important to do well with how we exercise, sleep, what we eat, drink and how we educate ourselves. Most are aware that living a healthy life goes beyond these. It is also important to take care with what we put onto our bodies. The idea of using skin care products made from ingredients we trust, therefore, is very appealing, especially as we get older because we become more aware of our health.

These reasons, along with a lengthy professional background in providing emotional health services, I understand the importance of self-care.
